Project: Large format photobook

Scope: Concept, creative direction, art direction, layout, artwork
‘Commune’, a photobook in large format broadsheet size, printed on newsprint, showing a series of images taken by photographer David Williams at the Laurieston Hall commune in Scotland in the early 1970’s. Images were scanned from slide, cleaned and retouched.

Typographic cues and graphical devices allude to the spirit and aesthetic of the time.

I also made a microsite for the publication, where viewers could find out more information and order a copy.
