Client: Rolex

Project:
Typographic system and visual identity for social media video content.

Scope:
Typography design, visual system, global design guidelines, and video content enhancement.
Rolex is one of the world’s most iconic luxury brands, synonymous with precision, performance, and timeless design. Their social media storytelling reaches millions of viewers, highlighting the extraordinary individuals who wear a Rolex — from record-breaking athletes and pioneering scientists to visionary environmentalists.

In collaboration with Rolex’s film production house, I reimagined the on-screen typography, designing a new system to reflect the dynamic energy and character of the Rolex ambassadors, and to help bring clarity and consistency to the video content.

The project included:

  • Rationalisation, presentation and implementation of a new typeface to the Rolex social media grid.
  • Development of a refined typographic design system for social media video.
  • Creation of a global guideline toolkit enabling consistent application across all content.

These elements enable a network of over thirty editors worldwide to produce content that feel elegant and cohesive while enhancing the brand’s visual storytelling across digital channels.
