British Heart Foundation — Associate Designer, Brand Engagement & Marketing

As an Associate Designer within the Brand Engagement & Marketing team at the British Heart Foundation (BHF), I worked across a wide range of print and digital projects that help communicate the charity’s mission and impact.

I played an active role in the rollout of BHF’s refreshed brand identity, supporting teams across the organisation to ensure consistency and creative excellence from concept through to delivery.

One key area of focus has been the design and production of the BHF Annual Report and Accounts — which I delivered for three consecutive years (2020, 2021 and 2023). These marked a milestone for the organisation as the first to be produced entirely in-house, resulting in a more efficient workflow and a better use of design resources.

Beyond the annual reports, my work spans:

• Long-form reports with data visualisation and technical content

• Marketing and internal communications materials for campaigns and initiatives

• Microsites and digital advertising for BHF’s major mass participation events

This ongoing collaboration has helped strengthen BHF’s visual identity and ensure that its communications reflect the clarity, credibility and compassion at the heart of its brand.
