Proudfoot are a film production company who produce high quality, beautifully crafted films and content for a variety of clients, large and small.

Their website required a re-design, and this top level brief was created:

  • A general design update to bring site into line with contemporary web technologies and functionality.

  • The site should be responsive and work across screen sizes, from mobile to desktop.

  • The site should maintain and extend the existing brand identity.

  • Give an insight into how Proudfoot works and show that the way they produce films adds value to the client right from the beginning.

  • Proudfoot films have an ethos and reputation which they have worked hard to build and maintain. One section of the site – ‘The Frame’ – is a destination for viewers to watch these films. This section would hold a large amount of films, so some form of complex filtering would be needed.

  • 'The Frame' would also require a complementary sub-identity to be developed.
